Turning StatusControl notifications on and off
- Sign into the StatusControl portal at https://statuscontrol.demagcranes.com.
- Access your user profile top right and select
Notification
Settings.
- Use the check box to select whether to receive StatusControl notifications or not.
- To turn off all
StatusControl notifications (from all
customers, locations, and cranes), de-select the check box. Save with Apply changes. Skip the
rest of the steps.
- To turn on StatusControl notifications,
select the check box. Do the rest of the steps.
StatusControl notifications are sent to your work email address (cannot be changed). - To turn off all
StatusControl notifications (from all
customers, locations, and cranes), de-select the check box. Save with Apply changes. Skip the
rest of the steps.
- Select the customer and location of the assets
(cranes) from which you want to get StatusControl
notifications.You can select many customers and locations at a time, or proceed one by one.
- Scroll down to StatusControl Notifications.
- If you see an error message saying
LOCATIONS NOT
FOUND: The customer structure is not complete in Siebel.
StatusControl notifications can be set up only
if there is at least one location. Contact your local StatusControl key user.
- If you see an error message saying ASSETS NOT FOUND:
StatusControl notifications are not available
for all types of cranes/hoists. An additional requirement is that
the hoist has a suitable router or gateway for StatusControl data
transfer and that the router or gateway has been activated. Consult your local StatusControl key user.
- If locations and assets are ok, you see a table that shows
your current notifications settings. If you have not edited your
notification settings before, all check boxes are empty by default. Proceed
with the rest of the steps.
- If you see an error message saying
LOCATIONS NOT
FOUND: The customer structure is not complete in Siebel.
StatusControl notifications can be set up only
if there is at least one location. Contact your local StatusControl key user.
Editing your notification settings at the customer or location level
- If you want to edit your notification settings
collectively for all assets of a particular customer or
location, use the check boxes in this table.The table rows present the selected customers, with the selected locations below the customers. The columns reflect the StatusControl notification types. For more information, see StatusControl notification types.
NOTE The set of available StatusControl notifications depends on the type of the cranes/hoists that are present in the location.

Some StatusControl notifications for this customer, location, or notification type are on and some are off - Once done, apply your changes.
Editing your notification settings at the asset level
- If you want to edit your notification settings at
the asset level (crane by crane), start by selecting the arrowhead button of the
location.
A new table opens up, with the table rows now reflecting the assets of the selected location and the columns presenting the StatusControl notification types. - Open the notification details of the asset with the arrowhead button.
- Using the check boxes, select which StatusControl notifications you want to get from the asset.
NOTE The set of available StatusControl notifications depends on the type of the crane/hoist. The following screenshot is an example for a crane with a Demag DMR hoist.
For instructions about custom notifications, see Creating custom notifications. - If you need detailed descriptions of the StatusControl notifications, select the info button.
- Once done, apply your changes.
- Go back to the customer/location level table by scrolling up and selecting Back top left.Any edits that you made at the asset level are automatically reflected at the customer/location level, if applicable.
- To exit your user profile, select the Back button again.
