StatusControl notification types

This section presents the main types of StatusControl notifications. More detailed descriptions are available in the StatusControl portal, in your user profile.

  1. Condition notifications. There are two types of condition notifications.
    • Maintenance-related condition notifications typically indicate that the service life (DWP, design working period) of a critical component has dropped below a set limit. The DWP may concern the hoist, trolley, brakes, contactors, or thrust rockers. Maintenance-related condition notifications are sent at 7 am on the next day after the occurrence and then every seven days until the system recognizes that the required maintenance has been carried out.
    • Other causes for condition notifications include, for example, overspeed situations and certain production-critical brake faults. These notifications are sent as summary message once a day, at 7 am on the next day after the occurrence.
  2. Operating notifications. Operating notifications indicate possible misuse or bad operating habits that can cause excessive wear to various components of the crane. The causes include emergency stops (using the emergency stop button as a regular control method), attempted overloads, and activation of the ultimate limit switch (driving the hook block to its upmost position). Operating notifications are sent as a summary message once a day at 7 am on the next day after the occurrence.
  3. Custom notifications. For certain hoist types, you can create customized notifications. With custom notifications, you can define that a message is sent after a certain number of hoisting motor starts, hoisting cycles, or running hours. You can freely compose the content of the message.
