Introduction to the StatusControl portal
Crane vendors and customers have access to the StatusControl portal, our cloud-based customer portal.
The portal visualizes hoist usage and condition data. The following hoists and control units are currently supported.
- DVR hoists that are equipped with a DMU condition monitoring unit
- DR and DMR hoist that are equipped with a SafeControl module
The usage and condition data is linked to crane details, giving you a transparent view of events and activities over any selected time interval. Data is updated to the portal in real time.
Aggregated data can be viewed, analyzed, and shared quickly, for a single crane or an entire fleet. Insights can be drawn by observing anomalies, patterns, and trends, helping you make informed maintenance decisions.
Anomalies can show up as faults, such as brake slips. These events are considered abnormal and should be addressed promptly as they occur. Knowing when a brake slip occurs is the first step in identifying its cause.
Patterns help reveal relationships between variables. For example, operator training may reduce human-error downtime. Recurring faults indicate where changes in equipment or process may be desirable.
The study of trends can help prioritize corrective actions and investments. Analyzing data behavior over time makes predictive maintenance increasingly feasible.
You can use the portal on various devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The portal is accessible with a standard web browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.
